Welcome to Lochend Croft

Lochend is our family-run working croft in Whalsay, Shetland.

Home to our sheep, Shetland ponies, hens and a busy family life, we produce our own meat, eggs, haylage and a growing collection of products inspired by life on the croft.

We're also creating Elsk at Lochend, our luxury lochside retreat — a place to slow down, experience island life and enjoy a little piece of Lochend for yourself.

Through the seasons, we share the animals, photography and everyday life on our working Shetland croft.
